How does the Internet affect our relationships? Does it enable or even boost long distance relationships? Is it even possible that our notion of love is changing?
A group of students will discuss these questions in a workshop with Johannes Landstorfer of IxDS as a part of the Salzburger Hochschulwochen 2008 (literally: Salzburg University Weeks)

The internet and new technologies lead to a mobile and flexible society. The opportunities to get in touch with “loveable” persons have increased enormously. However, can we maintain and deepen relationships by means of chats and online communities or will entirely new forms of relationships arise, which demand a different approach and different tools? Given the background of our personal experience and wishes as well as current developments in technology, we can take a look into the future.
