There is an explosion of new technologies available on the automotive platform, including satellite navigation, in-car entertainment, and internet access.  In addition, a range of driver assistance systems have made travel safer. Yet these are only technological possibilities – they need interaction design to make them accessible, manageable, and enjoyable.
