In the dynamic field of online music and video services, Musicload and Videoload wanted to explore future opportunities for entertainment “on the go”. In cooperation with the CreationCenter, IxDS evaluated the existing service offerings. Just as the field itself, the project was fast paced and we needed to make sure to include all available knowledge and deciders early on.
Meet your audience
In preparation of a joint workshop, we researched actual user needs through a set of cultural probes that we sent to carefully selected music enthusiasts. They provided us with a deeper understanding of daily entertainment habits and gave us hints for unconscious needs and undiscovered opportunities.
In a large co-creation workshop, we brought together various experts from within the companies, product managers, and end users–they are the actual experts of their everyday life and entertainment. Together, we went on an inspiring journey to find and develop new ideas for entertainment on the go, both video and audio. Together with the product managers, we refined the top ideas from the workshop to turn them into new product concepts that will help Musicload and Videoload to better meet customer needs and stand out in this buzzling market.
