Exploratory development of new ideas
Sometimes it’s difficult to get a sense of a new concept without actually being able to work (or play) with it. A flow chart, a set of sketches, even a static or video walk-through may not give you enough of the actual experience of a product or service to be certain you’re going in the right direction. Maybe you need a proof-of-concept to ensure that a particular technical approach to an implementation will actually succeed. And some fundamental design and technical problems (opportunities!) may not surface until you actually try to develop a working model. These are the kinds of situations the Prototyping Studio addresses.
Our motto is “just enough development”, whether that means a deep dive into a particular technical process (and smoke-and-mirrors everywhere else), or a quick working prototype to give a sense of overall look-and-feel. And if circumstances warrant, we can continue iterating the prototype, even to the point of shipping it as a product.
We offer these services both for software and hardware. Our expertise includes desktop application programming, mobile applications, web technologies, microcontrollers and sensors, and any combination required to serve the purpose at hand. We have built prototypes and products used in automobiles, mobile communications, museum exhibits, home entertainment, consumer electronics and medicine.
